Info Of Each Event

This is an event debugging to test the participant’s ability to apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems of electronics. Speed is of essence.

  • Team of maximum two members.
  • Components will be provided to the participants. Additional inventory requirements will not be entertained.
  • Prebuild circuit will be given with two or three errors.
  • You have to find the errors and rebuild the circuit with ZERO ERRORS.
  • Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
  • A drawing will be given to design.
  • Time 45 min to 1hr.
  • Judgement will be based on time consumption

Trench 2k18 redefines that the robot must protect its own existence; do hell with everything else.

  • Team of maximum 4 members.
  • Only one team is allowed from each college.
  • Participants cannot switch teams during competition.
  • The robot wheel should be fixed with 25cm×25cm.
  • Maximum dimensions should be 35cm×30cm×30cm including the weapons used.
  • Weight- Maximum 15kg.
  • Battery power supply- maximum 24volts DC. & AC will be provided only for weapons in case it is required.
  • No modification will be allowed after the bot is weighed.

Safety Rules

  • Compliance with all event rules is mandatory.
  • Each event has safety inspection.
  • Robots must be activated only in the arena.
  • All weapons must have safety cover on sharp edges.
  • No. of participants per team is ONE.
  • Slides will be shown to each Participant and each slide will be shown for three seconds.
  • Slides will contain some pictures of famous monuments, logos, animals, birds, electronic gadgets, etc.

The participants are invited to pit their line following robot against each other in a race.

  • Team of maximum three members.
  • Only one team from each college.
  • Size of the robot should be 20cm×20cm×15cm.
  • Power supply max 24 volts DC.
  • Arena will be given at spot.
  • Open competition.
  • Maximum 3 members in a team.
  • Projects must be the original design and creation of the entrant(s).
  • Participants will be given 10 minutes for the oral presentation and two minutes extra for question answer session.

It is a kind of mental ability as well as personality development event. In this event participants have to qualify 3 levels consist of :

  • Individual participation.
  • Use of internet resources will be prohibited.
  • No extra time will be given to the participants.
  • Situational task will be provided on the spot.
  • Judgment criteria: No. of problem solved, communication skills.
  • Number of participants per team is maximum 3.
  • Materials will be provided by the coordinator on event day and no extra materials will be allowed to use.

  • Judgments will be based on load bearing capacity and faculty coordinator’s Judgment will be the final Judgment.

  • It should be of the IEEE format.
  • The oral presentation must not exceed more than ten minutes. Two minutes extra will be given for question answer session.
  • The abstract of the paper must be sent to the following e-mail id: before 8th Nov, 2018.

A Collage describes both the technique and the resulting work of art in which a piece of paper, photograph, fabric and other ephemera are arranged and stuck down onto a supporting surface. If you have appetite in making collage, this newspaper collage making is definitely for you.

  • Each team can have maximum 2 participants.
  • Cross college teams are allowed.
  • Only chart paper and newspaper are provided by college remaining other ephemera (color, glue, scissor….. etc.) arranged by the participant as well.
  • News within a single collage belongs to a particular branch.
  • Total time - 45 minutes.
  • judgment Criteria:
    Development of theme.
  • No extra time shall be given to the teams reaching late.
  • Rules will be given on the spot.
  • Teams of two participants.
  • 4 rounds will be conducted.
  • Round 1: explain the phenomenon of the video shown.
  • Round 2: Crack the logic.
  • Round 3: Bid for your score.
  • Round 4: Discover the mystery.
  • A team of Maximum Four participants.
  • The event has three stages with a time limit of 10 minutes each.
  • Hints will be provided in each stage in the form of rhymes.
  • Things would be hidden in the campus except the hostel and the college building.
  • The Team that finds maximum no. of things would be considered as winner.
  • If two team find the hidden things at the same time than a general Question would be asked. Whoever answers first would be considered winner.

Channel surfing requires you as an individual to either imitate various channels or come up with something humorous to represent particular channel. Meanwhile, the judges will keep shifting between channels after every few minutes or seconds.

  • It is an individual participation event.
  • The participant has to present the particular channel as the judge switches to a respective channel.
  • The channels that will be given are – Starplus, pogo, star sports, Aajtak, ZEE Cinema , Discovery, 9XM, MTV, Fashion TV .
  • Participants will be judged on spontaneity, content, humour, audience response, and presentation.

Bring out creativity in you and make an outstanding advertisement of your own. It may be hilarious humorous or sensitive based on your creativity.

  • It is a team event. Each team should have 4-5 members only.
  • Topics would be provided on the spot.
  • 5 minutes preparation would be given.
  • Time limit for performing the advertisement is 1-2 minutes.
  • Participants will be judged on the basis of spontaneity, content , adherence to the topic, on-stage presentation, coordination and overall appeal of the advertisement.
  • The Caution should be taken to refrain from displaying obscenity, violence, prejudice, defamation etc. in the Advertisement.
  • Decision of the judges will be final and binding

This event forms a blend of the very successful Math Mania from Insignia’12 and a new concept on something which is considered immensely fun to work with, an ancient Indian science called Vedic Mathematics by the renowned mathematician Jagadguru Shankaracharya. Apart from being the most hardly fought mathematics battle; it has a new taste to it.
So fasten your seatbelts, ransack your brains & bring out the Ramanujan inside you!!!

  • Entry will be prior registration.
  • Team of maximum two members.
  • Participants should be present at the venue half an hour before the start of the event.
  • Event will be held in two rounds.
  • The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
  • Round 1:
  • Round 1 consists of 10 multiple choice questions.
  • Questions will be based on simple quantitative mathematics.
  • Result will be announced after ten minutes.
  • Selected teams will be called for the next round.
  • Round 2 (Finale):
  • This round will be a mock round.
  • Each team will be asked 10 questions.
  • Based on the highest number of answers given correctly by the teams, 1st and 2nd prize will be given.
  • In case of a tie, another series of 10 questions will be asked.

This event will check the participant’s knowledge and power to transform useless things into some great mechanism and their ability to work in an exhausting situation.

  • Team of maximum three members.
  • All the tools required will be supplied by the workshop.
  • Participants should have a basic idea of workshop safety and operational precautions.
  • No. of participants per team maximum is TWO
  • Materials will be provided on events day by the coordinator no extra materials will be allowed to use.
  • Time duration 45 min to 1hr.
  • Participants fee@ Rs20 each.
  • Themes Historical Monument

Corporate roadies is a collection of management games to test your business acumen, skills and knowledge .The game is designed to throw the worst at you bring out the best in you. The participant need to show their calibre, the power of persuasion and the ability to handle pressure.

  • It is a team event. There should be 4 members in each team.
  • The tasks for teams will be given on the spot
  • The event shall consist of different rounds.
  • The decision of the organisers of the contest will be final and binding on all the participants.

Stage is ready to show off your coding skills. Crack your knuckles, set your fingers on the keyboard and solve some various set of problems related to array, stack, queue, tree, etc. If it excites you, than, this contest is definitely for you.

  • Each team can have maximum of 2 members.
  • Each team member should be from same college.
  • Total number of problems – 5
  • Programming language allowed - C/C++.
  • Use of internet and any external device other than the given computer is strictly prohibited.
  • Judgement Criteria –
    No. of problems solved.
    Total time taken.
  • No extra time will be given in any circumstances.
  • Team will be disqualified immediately if they violate any of the above mentioned rules.

“Designing is thinking made visible” You are now a real graphic designer for your film. You just got instructions from your boss to create a poster for an upcoming event for the firm. You will be given all the required information needed for the logo or poster. So brieng out the graphic desgner in you and show your creativity and designing skills to the world.

  • It is on the spot designing competition.
  • Team of maximum 2 members.
  • Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, Paint, illustrator & Corel Draw etc. can be used.
  • Theme will be disclosed on the day of the event.
