Last one decade has seen tremendous upgradation in terms of technological advancement and skills. With a population of 72% below the age of 34 years, India is the most buzzing and happening place on the globe today with a huge manpower potential ready to be harnessed. India is fast becoming the technological capital of the world. Understanding this global phenomenon, Delhi College of Technology & Management has been contributing towards developing and nurturing the youth of India to become global citizens of tomorrow .DCTM has many feathers in its cap.Beit sprawling lush greencampus to state of the art labs and library, the institute has everything to cater to the needs of the students who wish to undergo a technological transformation in their life. The management and the faculty are committed to providing a world class atmosphere both in terms of infrastructure and knowledge.Besides interactive classroom learning we also provide our students with industrial exposure. The kind of team spirit and emotional bonding between the faculty and the managementthat I witness here isunprecedented. Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Kumar.

Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Kumar is a Professor of Computer Science & having experience in industry, teaching and administration. He is Masters in Computer Engineering, BITS, Pilani and Doctorate of Engineering (in Artificial Intelligence) from Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Deemed University, Agra. Dr. Vivek Kumar is having more than 25 years experience of teaching and research. He started his career as software engineer at Hexaware Limited. He has served SIT Mathura as Dean Academic. Dr. Vivek Kumar joined Lovely Institute of Technology, Jalandhar as Head of CSE and IT Department. He successfully operated regional center of Punjab Technical University for M.Tech. Programme. Before joining DCTM as Director-Principal in 2010, he has served Galgotias College and Technology as “Professor” and Head of Information Technology and Head of MCA Department. During his tenure at Galgotias, B.Tech. (IT) was awarded NBA accreditation. He started M.Tech.(IT) and Ph.D. programme in the department. He initiated industrial tie-ups with leading computer giants like IBM, Infosys and TCS. He was an active member in upgrading Galgotias to national platform. He was in core team who developed many academic and administrative systems in the institute. He has taught Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logics, Artificial Intelligence, Distributed Systems, Digital Image Processing and Theoretical Computer Science to M.Tech. & B.Tech. level for more than a two decade. His area of experience is in Artificial intelligence and soft computing techniques. Currently he is doing research in diversified field Soft-computing techniques. He has applied Soft-computing techniques in many field like Bioinformatics, ATM, Software Engineering, Management, Human Cognitive Behavior, Transport Engineering, Total Quality Management, Internet management and Computer Graphics. He has developed many intelligent and expert systems as a part of his research contribution. He has published more than Thirty Six international research papers and has attended many conferences and seminars in India and abroad. He has delivered invited talk and lecture in India and abroad. Prof. Vivek Kumar has guided more than thirty eight M.Tech. level projects. He has supervised eight Ph.D. in field of aspect oriented designs, Bioinformatics, wireless systems, web semetics and web services. Presently six Ph.D. are being supervised under his guidance in MTU, UPTU, PTU and MDU university on wireless technology, web services, cloud computing and cancer research. Prof. Kumar is a member of IEEE, ACM,CSI International association of engineers, USA (IAENG) and is a member of the board of studies of many reputed institutes and industry.
